I worked on my blog. Babette got a sunburn at the spa, A giant step forward One of the families from the Buena Vista Branch of the Chulac District.  An “incredible” week at the Temple “April 16th through April 22nd ... was an incredible week” began the Guatemala City Temple president in his weekly blog to family and friends, speaking about visitors from Chulac District.  My only interaction with them was at the recommend desk. Tuesday a group of saints arrived about noon from the Chulac district in the Polochic Valley.  President Faundez and his wife, from the Coban Mission, also arrived to accompany them and  stayed with us.  In this group were 7 families to be sealed.  We were on shift in the afternoon and we started processing all the paper work for the 7 families.  There ...

We will concentrate on our need to learn how to receive more personal revelation and to learn how to love as Jesus loved, and to take care of and minister to each other. I liked what Pres. Nelson said about temples.  “Maybe these temples (the 7 just announced) won’t be life changing for you, but your time in the temple will be.” Guatemala Temple Pres. John Norman said he  knows of no better place to learn how to receive more personal revelation, how to love as Jesus loved, and how to minister, than in the temple. I agree.  I also concur with him that I can’t remember a more exciting and powerful general conference.   April 1 Happy birthday to me Babette made me a cake and a greeting card, and bought me a comfortable pair of walking shoes. Thank you, B. Many birthday greetings from people.  Normans cooked a ham and green beans, and  ...
