August 13-19, 2018 One year! Four Temple Presidents

One year has passed A temple mission is the best kind, I say. Temples are the happiest places on earth. I would caution, however, about going to a foreign language mission. We have done very well with the ordinances, but conversation with the locals is not easy. I can carry on simple conversations, one on one, but I can’t get into the group chatter.  Too fast, with unclear pronunciation,  and words outside my limited vocabulary.   Aug 15 marked one year on our temple mission in Guatemala.  Also for the Holmans of Sugar City, Idaho. Together, we celebrated by providing treats for the workers on our afternoon temple shift.  I made the  sign and bought donuts and cookies. Sherry Holman baked a  huge pan of brownies.  The Masks, a new  missionary couple  in  Guatemala, specializing in  Church  History  presided over the Temple only 6 years ago. Read the following....
