Week 5 ... Sept 18 - 24, 2017

Monday

We're getting "cabin fever." We've been blessed to have had many interesting excursions and gatherings of friends. Today, however, we faced a full Monday with nothing fun planned, outside our "cabin." Time to analyze the situation...

Tuesday
I took photos of the boulevard that runs past the temple, at 6:15 am on a Tuesday when people are going to work by bus, motorcycle or car.

Sidewalks
When we go for walks, we have to be very observant. All sidewalks are not the same: uneven surfaces, some disappear, potholes, etc.

The best sidewalks are by the temple...

Saturday

Sunday
Instead of walking a few steps from our apartment to church, we again went with the Framptons to a branch of the church an hour and a half drive away, in Siquinalá. Beautiful lush vegetation along the highways.

  1. Once again awesome blog. I want to know a couple things, though: Was the steak good? And what does a fresh picked banana taste like? My mouth is watering!!

I hope you have a great Monday even though you have nothing planned -- as yet. President Hinckley would say "it will all work out>"

    Take care, keep safe.

  2. During your cabin fever moments, mom could skype with Janelle to help her with her Harmony homework. Of course, she had school during the day and you folks are in the same time zone as we are. I found that green bananas do not taste good. So do you feel pretty safe walking around town during daylight hours?
