July 9-10, 2018 Vacation week #2, ruins of Copán Honduras,

Instead of 3.8 hours, it took 6.5 hours to get to the town of Copan, Honduras. But only 4.5 to return.

Stop at the international border:
Park your car and go inside a building to show your passport and pay a small fee.

You get 24 Honduran lempiras for a U.S. dollar.

WiFi! Couldn’t get it in my room in two 4-star hotels last week. But I could in this small quaint hotel in Honduras.

Nia Lola waitresses use their heads.

“Twisted.” There’s no W in the Spanish dictionary.  They should have come up with a better name for their restaurant. Maybe their minds were twisted at that time. But... the food was good!

Now... The Ruins...

Excellent walking exercise... 😀

Larry was, like “ugh.”
😰

Looking down from the highest point of the Ruins of Copán: the Maya king’s sprawling home site.

Ancient buildings were not the only things to see in the park ...

Babette... only ___ years.

More vacation destinations in the next blog....
